An app redesign helping Rewards members feel right at home on the road, decreasing their travel stress and driving additional revenue.

One challenge in launching a redesigned app is to get users to learn about the new features and functionality and to re-engage with the brand. We created reasons for local and international Marriott Rewards loyalty members to spend time with the new app.

The immersive mobile app experience we created increased reward attainability, customer retention and engagement. This drove incremental revenue for the brand.

Marriott Rewards members performed actions to earn entries into grand prize sweepstakes. Over 3 million reward points were awarded globally as the prize for daily engagement with their redesigned app. Members were able to experience a streamlined experience to make a reservation at a Marriott properly, use mobile check-in worldwide and use the mobile request feature on the app to order things such as extra towels and room service.
